Google logo

We get a lot of questions from businesses considering a website subscription for the first time. It is a different model from the traditional pay-thousands-upfront approach, so it makes sense that people want to understand exactly how it works before committing.

Below you will find answers to the most common questions we receive, organised by category. We have tried to be as thorough and honest as possible. If you cannot find what you are looking for, drop us a message and we will get back to you the same day.

Pricing & Plans

There is a minimum 3-month commitment to ensure we can deliver the best value and results. After the initial 3 months, your subscription rolls monthly and you may cancel with 30 days’ notice. We chose 3 months because it gives us enough time to build, launch, refine, and demonstrate real value. Most clients stay well beyond the minimum because they see the results.

None at all. Your first month’s subscription covers the design, development, and launch of your website. There are no setup fees, no hidden charges, and no surprise invoices. The price on our pricing page is the price you pay. We are not fans of the asterisk-and-small-print approach.

You may cancel after the first 3 months by giving us 30 days’ notice. There are no penalties and no exit fees. If you would like to keep your website after cancelling, we offer a straightforward buyout option at a fair price. We will never hold your content hostage or make leaving difficult.

You can upgrade at any time with no hassle — we will simply adjust your next invoice. Downgrades are possible after the minimum commitment but may require reducing your website to fit the lower tier’s page limits. We will always discuss this with you before making changes.

We do not offer refunds on completed work, but we will work with you until you are satisfied. Our goal is always a website you are proud of. If something is not right, tell us and we will fix it. We have a 100% client satisfaction track record because we take this seriously.

A typical agency charges £3,000 to £10,000 upfront, plus hosting (£200+ per year), maintenance (£100+ per month), and change fees (£75 to £150 per hour). Our all-inclusive plans start at £49 per month with everything included. Over a year, you save thousands. Over two years, the savings are even more dramatic because traditional sites often need a full rebuild by then.

No. Your monthly subscription covers design, development, hosting, domain, SSL, security, and content changes within your plan’s allowance. The only extras are optional add-ons like additional pages (from £30 each), e-commerce integration, or ongoing SEO campaigns — and we always quote these upfront before starting.

Process & Delivery

Yes. Once we have your content and branding assets, we will have your website live within 72 hours. This applies to all our packages: Starter, Growth, and Premium. We have done it over 100 times and it is a genuine commitment, not a marketing claim.

Your logo (PNG or SVG), content (even rough bullet points work), photos of your team or work, brand preferences (colours, fonts, examples of sites you like), and any specific feature requests. The more prepared you are, the faster we deliver. If you do not have polished content ready, we can work with rough notes and refine from there.

Starter includes 1 revision round, Growth includes 1 to 2 rounds, and Premium includes multiple rounds. We work collaboratively to get it right, not just deliver and disappear. A revision round means a batch of changes you send us in one go — not a single change at a time.

Small changes include text updates, image swaps, colour adjustments, and minor layout tweaks. These are covered by your monthly allowance. New page additions, complete redesigns, structural changes, or new functionality are billed as separate projects or add-ons. We will always tell you if something falls outside scope before doing any work.

Starter (£49 per month): within 72 hours. Growth (£99 per month): within 24 to 48 hours. Premium (£149 per month): same-day priority support. These are maximum turnaround times — most changes are done much faster.

That is fine. We can start with placeholder content and swap it out once yours is ready. Alternatively, we offer copywriting services from £50 per page if you would prefer us to write the content for you. Either way, we will not let a lack of polished copy delay your launch.

Technical

Your monthly fee includes enterprise-grade hosting, domain registration (or connection if you already own one), SSL certificate, automated backups, and security monitoring. Everything you need to stay online is covered. You never need to log into a hosting dashboard or renew certificates yourself.

Every website is built with SEO best practices: mobile-friendly responsive design, fast loading times, clean semantic HTML, proper heading structure, meta descriptions, and schema markup. For ongoing SEO campaigns (keyword research, content creation, link building, and monthly reporting), we offer monthly plans starting from £199 per month as an add-on.

We build both. For most small business websites, we use custom code (Next.js and React) because it is faster, more secure, and gives us complete design freedom. We recommend WordPress for e-commerce sites or content-heavy platforms where the client needs to manage hundreds of products or blog posts. We will always advise on the best approach for your specific needs.

Every website we build is fully responsive and tested across all devices — phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. We design mobile-first because over 60% of web traffic comes from mobile devices. Your site will not just work on mobile; it will look great.

Yes. We can set up professional Google Workspace email accounts ([email protected]) for a one-off setup fee of £35. The Google Workspace licence fee (around £4.60 per user per month) is billed directly to you by Google. We handle the DNS configuration and initial setup.

Our custom-coded websites regularly score 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights. Because we build with Next.js instead of WordPress themes loaded with plugins, there is no bloat slowing things down. Fast sites rank better, convert better, and provide a better user experience.

Subscription Model

Because websites need ongoing care. Hosting, security updates, content changes, performance monitoring, and SSL renewals do not stop after launch. A subscription means everything is always covered, and you always have someone to call. It also removes the massive upfront financial barrier that stops many small businesses from getting online.

While subscribed, we host and manage the site for you. If you cancel, we offer a straightforward buyout option at a fair price. We will never hold your content hostage or make it difficult to leave. Your text, images, and brand assets are always yours regardless.

Extra pages can be added for a one-off fee starting from £30 per page, or you can upgrade to a higher package tier if you regularly need more pages. Most clients start with a Starter or Growth plan and add pages as their business grows.

No problem. We offer a range of add-ons including extra pages, e-commerce integration, booking systems, advanced features, and more. We will always provide a clear quote upfront before doing any work. No hidden surprises, no scope creep charges.

We prefer you to provide these before development begins so we can match your existing brand identity. However, we can create professional branding and content for an additional cost: logos from £75, content writing from £50 per page. Many of our clients take advantage of both.

Simple: send us an email or WhatsApp message giving 30 days’ notice. We will confirm receipt, and your site stays live until the end of your notice period. If you want to keep the site, we will quote you a buyout price. If not, we will take the site down at the end of the 30 days. No penalties, no awkward phone calls.

After Launch

Your subscription includes ongoing support for content changes, minor updates, and technical issues. Starter clients get 72-hour turnaround, Growth clients get 24 to 48 hours, and Premium clients get same-day priority support. You can reach us by email, WhatsApp, or phone.

Just send us a message via email or WhatsApp describing what you need changed. Be as specific as you can — screenshots help. We will make the changes within your plan’s turnaround time and let you know when it is done. No login portals, no support tickets.

Yes. We monitor uptime, security, and performance for all our clients. If something goes wrong — a server issue, a security vulnerability, or an expired certificate — we fix it before you even notice. That is part of the value of the subscription model.

Absolutely. We can set up Google Analytics or similar tools so you can see exactly how your site is performing — visitor numbers, traffic sources, popular pages, and more. On our Premium plan, we review these analytics quarterly and suggest improvements.
